We’d like to wrap up 2022 by wishing our customers, our partners and our friends a very happy holiday season. We are grateful for you and glad to see hospitality and the other industries we serve bounce back. Here’s to continued momentum and a great 2023.
One of my favorite practices is looking back at highlights – both personally and professionally. Here’s a snapshot of our Nomadix top 5:
- Launched Nomadix Networks
You asked, and we delivered. Our partners asked us to expand our Wi-Fi infrastructure portfolio to provide effective, secure and affordable options for hotels and MTU customers. In March, we launched our Nomadix Networks portfolio, introducing Wi-Fi 6 access points, controllers and LAN switches, specifically designed to meet stringent brand standards.
- Introduced Nomadix Alerts
It was estimated that around two million rooms would fall under mandates for hotel panic button compliance in 2022. In June, we launched a completely new product line Nomadix Alerts to promote staff safety. Our two-in-one solution helps safeguard isolated associates from threats and harassment by offering a built-in panic button and fall detection. The solution also includes an analysis tool to proactively monitor Wi-Fi quality.
- Nomadix Solutions Approved by Major Brands & New Certifications
Our product portfolio, including gateways, wireless access points, controllers, LAN switches and Passpoint, saw an uptick in brand approvals this year. We also earned new global certifications on our products, including the most recent UKCA Certification in Great Britain (except Northern Ireland).
- Attended Events All Over the World
Just last month, Knowland, the world’s leading provider of data-as-a-service insights on meetings and events, reported that meeting attendance exceeded monthly pre-pandemic levels for the first time. Our team has been thrilled to be in-person at events across the globe this year, including HITEC in Orlando, Western Canadian Lodging Conference in Vancouver, The 2022 Stakeholder Conference in Dubai, NMHC OPTECH in Las Vegas, The Hotel Show in Saudi Arabia, and HT-Next in Miami Beach – to name a few.
- Enjoyed Many Team and Family Milestones
As our CEO, Ted Helvey, said in an interview with techtalk.travel, Nomadix is “a strong, invested group, many of whom have been here since the company began.” Our people are what make Nomadix so great. We welcomed new team members, recognized many service anniversaries, and celebrated personal milestones including weddings and new Nomadix babies.
