The Nomadix® WLAN access points (APs) are a family of radio base stations addressing different Wi-Fi coverage needs for any scenario. Tested against stringent industry requirements, all the models are based on the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) chipset and can either be deployed standalone (Fat mode) or managed (Fit mode) – although full functionality is only realized when paired with a Nomadix WLAN controller. 

Wi-Fi 6 quickly established itself as the default industry standard thanks to better performance and stability, higher density, as well as reduced energy consumption, through technologies such as 1024-QAM, OFDMA modulation, MU-MIMO, BSS color spatial reuse and target wait time (TWT). The Nomadix range of APs implements these enhancements to their full potential to achieve very high performance results when compared with today’s alternative products, at an unbeatable performance-to-cost ratio.

Functionalities include a broad range of radio frequency (RF) control, traffic management, quality of service (QoS), security and failover configuration options, as well as Bluetooth and iBeacon support and the ability to be powered either via IEEE 802.3af/802.3at PoE/PoE+ or optional local DC adapters. They represent a safe long-term investment, ideal to meet the exponentially growing demand for IoT support and high-bandwidth applications such as video across any type of venue.

WALL PLATE 6WA

The Nomadix AP 6WA is designed according to the “1 AP per room” concept to provide the best possible coverage and user experience in hotels, university campuses, managed apartments, etc. while minimizing wiring costs. Its compact and discreet form factor allows for easy installation within existing universal structured cabling outlets, which also makes it ideal for retrofits without damaging the interior decor.

This dual-radio, dual-band AP delivers 4 x MU-MIMO spatial streams and a maximum throughput of up to 1.775 Gbps. In addition, it offers one 1 Gbps port for a backhaul uplink and four 1 Gbps LAN ports to connect other in-room devices such as IP televisions, room controls, etc.

WALL PLATE POE OUT AP 6WB

The Nomadix AP 6WB follows the same principle as the above AP 6WA, adding increased performance and a PoE Out port to power an external IoT device such as an IP phone.

This dual-radio, dual-band AP delivers 4 x MU-MIMO spatial streams and a maximum throughput of up to 2.976 Gbps. It offers one 2.5 Gbps port for backhaul uplink and four 1 Gbps LAN ports, including 1 PoE Out.

INDOOR STANDARD AP 6SA

The Nomadix AP 6SA addresses basic to medium indoor coverage requirements for areas such as corridors, staircases, individual rooms, etc. It can be mounted on walls or ceilings and incorporates the latest power saving technologies.

This dual-radio, dual-band AP delivers 4 x MU-MIMO spatial streams and a maximum throughput of up to 2.976 Gbps. In addition, it offers one 2.5 Gbps SFP port and one 1 Gbps PoE port for backhaul uplink.

INDOOR HIGH-DENSITY AP 6NA

The Nomadix AP 6NA addresses challenging indoor coverage requirements for high-density communal areas such as conference halls, business centers, hotel lobbies, etc. It can be mounted on walls or ceilings.

This ultra-high-performance tri-radio, dual-band AP delivers 10 x MU-MIMO spatial streams, a maximum throughput of up to 6.817Gbps and supports up to 1,536 client connections. In addition, it offers two 1 Gbps ports, one USB port and an extra 1 Gbps port reserved for future IoT module expansion.

Outdoor AP 6RA

The Nomadix AP 6RA is designed to extend coverage to outdoor areas such as recreation parks, golf courses, camp sites, pool areas, beaches, terraces, etc. Its IP68 rugged enclosure can withstand extreme weather conditions. It can be mounted either on walls or poles.

This dual-radio, dual-band AP delivers 4 x MU-MIMO spatial streams and a maximum throughput of up to 2.4 Gbps. In addition, it offers one 1 Gbps SFP port and one 1 Gbps PoE port for backhaul uplink.
