These non-blocking wire-speed managed switches answer most connectivity needs with a mix of fiber and copper port combinations. They deliver business continuity even in challenging environments including power instability, high humidity, dust, or corrosion. And if space is an issue, two of the devices can fit within shallow 19” cabinets thanks to their short depth.
The products come with a broad range of hardware and software capabilities, resulting in carrier-grade resilience with a main time between failure (MTBF) of over 30 years, and protection against a wide range of potential failures or malicious attacks. They can be managed via a Command Line Interface (CLI), accessible from anywhere. The onboarding is rapid thanks to intuitive standards-based controls and management.
Up to 2 or 4 devices can be combined into one virtual unit to form optimized and high-available stacks. This relies on advanced technology that removes the complexities and risks associated with the traditional multiple spanning tree protocol (MSTP) method, creating better resilience as well as simplified management and maintenance.
The access switches are ideal to support PoE/PoE+/HPoE devices such as WLAN access points, CCTV cameras, IP phones, in-room technology, etc. They adopt advanced circuitry, careful components selection and software features to reduce noise and save energy. Different modes allow, for example, to automatically turn down ports when not in use, leading to significant power and cost savings.
