“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela
The future is in the hands of the next generation, and for that reason, it’s worth making key investments in education now. Students have long needed secure, reliable access to the internet, prompting the US Federal Communication Commission’s (FCC) objective for students to have internet access in 2014, with a bandwidth goal of 1 Mbps per student by 2021. The good news is that today, 74% of US school districts (9,573) provide internet access at speeds that are sufficient to support digital learning in their classrooms every day – an increase of over 5 million students since 2022. But that means that still a quarter of the nation’s 12,911 school districts are not yet meeting the goal.
Here at Nomadix, we are pleased to offer Wi-Fi connectivity solutions for K-12 schools, enabling secure, reliable Wi-Fi necessary for optimal learning and are committed to getting dependable Wi-Fi and authentication into classrooms that have yet to meet FCC standards. With more than 25 years of experience as a leader in visitor-based networks, we understand the critical role that reliable and efficient networking infrastructure plays in closing the digital divide. But we also recognize the specific hurdles that state and local governments, educational institutions and public sector organizations face, including constrained budgets, regulatory guidelines, funding competition, remote work/learning and high user expectations.
Come see us at FETC

2) Enhance learning for K12 students
3) Empower educators to transform teaching
We look forward to sharing how our solutions align with this mission: including our Wi-Fi infrastructure portfolio, cloud telephony service, energy management, safety solutions and more.
Additionally, we are pleased to be hosting a session, titled “Master of Funds: Unlock the Secret to Supercharging Your School with E-Rate and Beyond” on January 16, 2025, at 1:30 PM ET. E-Rate expert Holly Davis will share how schools have access to a large amount of government funding, but most of it goes underutilized – including E-Rate, grants and other programs designed to upgrade a school’s tech and infrastructure. Her talk will help schools maximize these funding opportunities to launch schools into the future and transform the learning experience.
Attendees of the session can also enter to win an exclusive consultation session with Holly Davis to uncover funding options for the winning school. Just register and attend the session where we will draw a winner.
