Getting Back on the Road for Industry Conferences

We are so excited to be back traveling and seeing industry colleagues and customers face-to-face. It seems like years since we’ve been in person at industry trade shows, and the biggest takeaway is how much we cherish our industry relationships and in-person meetings, events and networking.

This year, I’ve attended AAHOACON and HITEC for team Nomadix, and the event organizers and conference centers have done a phenomenal job of making these events safe. These packed schedules of events happen in slightly new formats, but the support and resilience across the industry has been inspiring.

Up next: The annual Cobblestone Hotels Conference in Orlando, October 17-18.

There are a number of activities planned from educational sessions – including how customers are changing and how hoteliers need to adapt, a Partner Showcase (hint: See Nomadix Booth #15), to a kick-off networking event at Disney Springs, topped off with the awards banquet and a luau. It’s a great lineup for everyone joining together across the cobblestone community, including owners, GMs and industry partners.

During the Partner Showcase, we will give live demonstrations of our digital concierge, Angie. Our in-room devices help fulfill guest requests, answer common questions about the property and create a contactless, next-generation experience. The multilingual voice assistant replaces outdated traditional equipment and can integrate with other in-room smart technology. Angie’s voice AI engine allows hotels to control responses in multiple ways to effectively assist stretched staff and provide upsell and advertising revenue.

Nomadix will also showcase our TV Casting and internet gateway solutions, including the newest member of our gateway family, the EG 1000. It packs the same features and functionalities into a compact format and a lower price point, perfect for smaller hotels.

We look forward to the next couple of very busy months, including our team attending The Hospitality Network Stakeholder Conference in Dubai, NMHC OPTECH in Maryland, and HT-NEXT in Scottsdale. Please stop by and say hello, or book a meeting to catch up.
