Not only are events back, but the year is far from over. Our calendars are packed with team members traveling all over the world, from city to city, to hold face-to-face discussions on what’s top-of-mind for 2023, what’s impacting technology initiatives, what do tenants and guests really want, and what the most pressing issues are for property owners, operators, and general managers.
We love that events are truly back! In fact, Kristi White of Knowland, a research firm that shares insights on meetings and events, said, “As we step into the fourth quarter, meetings and events are poised to have a dramatic rebound that will bring the quarter close to full recovery.” This means that travel is back; business is picking back up; and deeper discussions are in the works. While virtual meetings have a place, nothing fully replaces the conversations, education and relationship-building power of joining together in-person.
