What’s on the agenda for this year’s show?
For this year’s conference, we are hosting the interactive workshop on Tuesday immediately after lunch, titled “Truly Uninterrupted: Putting Connectivity at the Forefront of Digital Strategies.” For business and leisure travelers, Wi-Fi connectivity is foundational to digital strategies for security, authentication, personalization and up-sell to guests throughout their stays. This workshop will take effective connectivity practices from other areas of travel to align to new guest expectations and gain strategic insights and connections for hotels.
The session will kick off with a discussion between Dr. Chris Spencer, one of the major contributors to the Passpoint standard, and Richard Wagner, one of the creators of GPNS standards for Marriott, both now part of Nomadix. They will be joined by Rohan Jani, AVP global hotel technology at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and the moderator Robert Firpo-Cappiello, Editor-in-Chief at Hospitality Technology, to discuss real-life implementation strategies and uncover 2022 roadmaps for creating a secure, uninterrupted connected experience for guests and hotel associates alike. This is a great opportunity for hoteliers to dive into Passpoint technology, learn about why our new partner chose the technology for their hotels, and discuss the opportunities for this technology standard in hotels around the world.
